Wednesday, February 2, 2022 – Winter Vacation

I am in Tyler because was supposed to see the musical “Beautiful” about Carole King tomorrow night with my friend Anita. I came a day early because the weather was supposed to be icy and snowy in Dallas tomorrow. I did get to spend most of the day with my 94-year-old friend Mary Wood who is in a nursing home in the area. However, by the time I got to Anita’s she had received an email that the “Beautiful” performance was cancelled due to weather conditions. Shoot! Oh well, am enjoying visiting with Anita and her husband Bruce. May not go back to Dallas for a day or two because of the weather. So, having a winter vacation in a cozy house in Tyler with good friends. Hope to be back to blogging by Saturday.
