As many of you know I am a freelance editor mostly working for one client, Minority Business News that has quarterly trade publications MBN USA and Women’s Enterprise focusing on minority/women entrepreneurs. It is a part-time job. However, I was recently contacted by Rev. Stan Copeland, pastor of Lovers Lane United Methodist church where I attend, to edit his second cookbook “Picklin’ Parson Cookbook: When Life Is Jarring.” I also edited his first cookbook “The Picklin’ Parson’s Cookbook…and Stories to Ponder When Uncle Sam’s in a Pickle.” When added to my other editing duties, it really is a full-time job. So, I am afraid I must discontinue my blog temporarily. When I edited the last cookbook, I did not post in the blog for three weeks. I am assuming the amount of time needed to edit will be about the same this time. I will miss doing blog posts every night, but hope to be back soon. Until we meet again.
